About

I like to take photos of everything interesting I see around me. I often travel for various reasons and I have my camera with me most of the time.

In the last couple of years I also began a somewhat serious trekking activity and I go walking every weekend somewhere around Genoa, the city where I live. I consider the weather only when there is a thunderstorm and it’s dangerous to go out walking on mountains, otherwise I go and if it rains or snows, well, whatever. Since January 2009, when I started, I missed only a couple of weekends in total.
If you like trekking and live in the area or plan to visit, contact me and we can go together.

My photography started in 1996 with an old soviet reflex camera from Zenith and now I’m working with a Nikon D300, having passed through a compact Sony and a Nikon D40.

During the five-day working week I hold a position in software development at Terex, a big American corporation in the business of industrial machinery. You can read more about me and my professional life at LinkedIn.

I occasionally also work with Merlo Fotografia, a professional photo studio. I thank Marco and Roberto for the many things they keep teaching me about the world of professional photography.
